Thorpeness Croquet Club
Pavilion Sports Ground
Thorpeness Croquet Club has a well-maintained, flat and level lawn - formerly used for bowls. We have our own club house, ample free parking and access to the nearby Pavilion.
We are members of the Croquet Association and offer both Association and Golf Croquet. Golf Croquet is easier for beginners and the games are usually quicker. Both forms can be played at all levels. Club afternoons are relaxed and friendly and are held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Potential members who have either played before or are total beginners, are very welcome to come and play.
Come in comfortable clothes and flat shoes (we only wear whites for competitions). Everything else you need to play Croquet - mallets, hoops & balls - are available at the Club.
